Books that Might Better Brentwood

Insights into faith provoked by the books

Reading expands our conversation circles.  But there is so much to read and so little time to do it.  At Brentwood, we have a number of keen readers of books that generate wisdom that might provoke the bettering of Brentwood.  This section contains notes on those books, highlighting the key insights they offer and suggesting some ways in which that wisdom might inspire and instruct us to better the ways we are engaging in our missioning as ambassadors of the triune Creator’s forgiving and reconciling love.  Don’t hesitate to convene your own conversations about these ideas and their application.  Let us now what emerges from those conversations.  And if you’d like to submit a book note that you think would benefit our missioning, please send it to brentwoodpcc@gmail.com.  We’ll be deeply grateful for your contribution.

We acknowledge with respect and gratitude that the Brentwood building sits on the unceded lands of the Musqueam, Squamish, and Tsleil Waututh nations with whom we are kin in the care of the Creator’s gifts to us.
